Chicago

I haven't been to Chicago in ages, since I was living in Wisconsin, and the Sunday after my class I ended up spending a really nice and sunny day in the city.

One of mu favorite places is Millennium Park, full of people and beautiful reflections. It's the first time I've seen Cloud Gate, and it was as bit as impressive and whimsical as I've imagined it from pictures and movies.
I spend a good part of the afternoon at the Art Institute, which is one of my favorite museums. I didn't remember that they have one of the beautiful glass windows from Chagall. And of course, the larger-than-life pointillisme painting by Seurat. A man didn't even noticed the stairs leading to the painting (he was so busy starting at it!) and took a tumble. Luckily, he didn't sustain permanenet damage, except for a constant open mouth while looking at the painting.
